It is therefore the youngest nation in the world. The majority of the population are Christian, with 18% Muslim. The Presbyterian Church in Sudan is the third largest denomination and has about 1,000,000 members in 500 congregations. Please pray for the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan (PCOSS) led by Rt. Rev. Peter Gai, (Moderator), Rev. John Yor (General Secretary) and Rev. James Makuei in charge of relief work. Pray for the displaced, humanitarian relief and a lasting peace.
